Two Photos That Work
The Hotel Lobby AI generator has only one real input: your two photos. Everything else — booth, mic, camera, timing — is fixed. So the difference between a clip that looks like you and one that looks like a stranger is decided before you press Generate.
The five rules
- One person per photo. The model assigns Photo 1 to the left slot and Photo 2 to the right slot. Two faces in one photo means it has to guess.
- Face the camera. Both eyes visible, head level. Profiles and three-quarter turns lose likeness and sometimes swap sides.
- Even light. Window light, ring light, overcast daylight. Avoid backlight, neon and flash-in-a-dark-room.
- Show the outfit. Waist-up or full body carries clothing and accessories into the booth. A tight crop leaves the model to invent a wardrobe.
- No heavy filters. Skin-smoothing and face-reshaping filters push the render toward a generic face.
Good pairs
Two selfies taken the same day; two LinkedIn-style headshots; a couple’s individual photos from the same event; a grandparent’s portrait plus your selfie; a clear frontal photo of each pet, ears up.
Bad pairs
A group photo cropped twice; one face crop and one full-body shot; a sunglasses photo; a screenshot of a video call; a child’s photo without a guardian’s permission (please don’t).
If the result is off
Blended faces, swapped sides or a frozen second performer are photo problems, not bad luck. A failed render does not use your free video, so fix the weaker photo and try again. Full walkthrough on the how-to page.
